I just need to say if you want a wonderful officiant who is laid back, will let you put whatever you want in the ceremony reading (including jokes at my request like asking the groom if he has his vows ready knowing he didn't write any) and who will tough out any weather as I decided to have it outside despite the rain...then Marilyn (Coolen) is your girl! She was personal, kind and professional from day one. I couldn't have been happier to have her as she was the perfect fit for my wedding. I just can't say enough good things about her! Thank you so much for being apart of my special day :) Justine and Donald 06/17/2017

Thanks again Derek for being such an important part of a perfect and unforgettable day. Here is a picture of our 'cliff wedding'.

The ceremony was lovely and Diane Axent handled it beautifully. She helped us all along the way, and it was easy even though we were in different cities. Diane was a great listener and really captured what we were looking for in our non-traditional wedding.

Hi Derek Well, back in Toronto. What an amazing trip. I have to say that Cumberland county is by far the most beautiful part of NS. Mike and I can't wait to return. Thought we'd send a picture from the wedding. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting and day. We swung back up through Cumberland county on our drive back to Toronto and went to Wild Caraway for dinner. Even with everything that we had heard about it, we were still blown away. The food was amazing as was the atmosphere. It made for another amazing memory from our trip. Thanks for making our wedding so relaxed, warm and unforgettable. It was everything we dreamed it would be. You never know, we may be seeing you again in your beautiful part of the world, maybe even as neighbours!

Heather was flexible, knowledgeable and full of joy for what we were striving to create with our ceremony. We hired two officiants - one was Heather and one a Hindu priest. Between the four of us, we braided together elements from many different traditions along with pieces that were unique to our desires. Heather was fully onboard and completely committed to this very special and different ceremony. Something we very much admired about Heather was that she didn't have an ego at all. She wanted what was best for us and didn't mind sharing the responsibilities and working together as a team. Because of this quality, we ended up with the most magical ceremony. Heather is well spoken, quick on her feet, kindhearted and adaptable. We couldn't have been happier with our choice to work with her. We are boundlessly grateful for her contributions to our special day. We recommend Heather to anyone who wants a sincere, joyous and creative officiant.

Michael LeBlanc kept us in track was helpful, generous, funny and kind. We would especially recommend Michael. He was great throughout the whole process and was awesome the day of your wedding. He was calm funny and caring. The groom was the first person in his family not to married in a church...we had alot of feedback from our guests and family on what a wonderful officiant we had and on how meaningful the ceremony was, which was important for us.
