Margot is an experienced speaker, and able to celebrate your unique ceremony in French or English. She is located in Halifax, and knows to keep it simple by communicating with you, working with your chosen wedding ceremony and vows, answering your questions directly, and showing up early. She will also remind you to breathe and laugh! She continues to use her life-long skills as professional classical musician to give back to youth in her community. Add to that fact that she is 28-year marital veteran, mum of three and former realtor; Margot’s definitely someone you want on your team.
Carol is a caring and respectful individual, honouring all faiths and beliefs. Married for over 20 years to a retired Aircraft Mechanic in the Royal Navy she maintains strong family values with her three grown up children (and the dog). She is committed to providing your beautiful traditional or spiritual non-denominational wedding ceremony anywhere in the Upper Tantallon area. She would be more than happy to include any ancestral traditions into your wedding ceremony to make your day truly the way that you imagine it to be. However elaborate or simple you wish to make it, Carol would be honoured and humbled to be the Officiant for you.
Your wishes for your customized wedding ceremony are approached with care and warmth, whether a traditional ceremony, a spiritual ceremony, or incorporating the blending of two families. Courtenay studied at BCIT Business School – Associate in Leadership, and is a professional event coordinator with many weddings in her portfolio. In her free time Courtenay can be found growing food, laughing at the family chickens’ antics, cooking for her large family or hanging out at the beach in front of their home on Boutiliers Point. A 30 year volunteer in her community, a Toastmasters International member in good standing, Courtenay’s bucket list dreams include speaking at TED Talks and driving a vintage ice-cream truck one summer!
